Yes way Rose

April showers bring May ROSEALLDAY

Get ready for Memorial Day Weekend, and prepare for the transition many have been waiting all year for. Think zombie apocalypse… just more millennials that have no interest in eating you, just in search of an endless fountain of a light pink wine. Shirts, shoes, probably some rosé tattoos, who knows what is to come of 2017?  I mean a giant rosé bottle mascot is already is old news. Spring has sprung and the season of #roséallday hashtags will be filling your social media feeds faster than Whispering Angel selling out on Memorial Day Weekend. No more winter wallowing with rose-colored glasses, the hibernating Summer in a Bottle lovers are ready to play.

Top Rosé:

Hi I’m Rachel... Born and raised in New Jersey where I received my Master’s Degree in Communications, had my first job experiences, and realized my purpose in life was to help make a difference. In 2013, I moved to New York City where I had dreams of being in the fashion industry. I took a fashion PR workshop and reached out to a speaker I was inspired by for an internship. Elle Communications helped me discover my love for social good brands and fashion with purpose. For a year I was one of Diane von Furstenberg’s assistants which was an experience I will be forever grateful for. Working for a fashion legend I never learned so much in such a short period of time. It helped me grow both professionally and personally immensely. I lost my aunt to lung cancer six years ago and became involved with Free to Breathe a nonprofit organization with a mission to double lung cancer survival by 2022.  They wrote me the most beautiful letter about my involvement since 2011. I am now currently fundraising for this year’s walk and team captain to Deb’s Dreamers.  I have raised over $5000.00 for lung cancer research from 2011-2016. Another organization I feel strongly about is The Pajama Program. A non-profit that offers at-risk children books and pajamas so they can enjoy bedtime. I have been a volunteer reader giving me the opportunity to both read and see the process of when the children receive pajamas and get to take a book home of their choice. The program is amazing and I look forward to participating in the upcoming Pajama Walk across the Brooklyn Bridge. “The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself is to lose yourself in the service of others.” Continuously trying to find a way I can put my love for social good, fashion, and communications together to make the most impact.
